During 2016 STFH and the Trussell Trust worked together on a joint venture entitled The Transformation Project.
It was an initiative combining the specialist skills and experience of the two charities with the aim of helping local people in crisis (homeless and in food poverty). The project aimed to realise the programme of STFH rooms refurbishment and the Trussell Trust’s support package ‘Eat Well, Spend Less’ combined to provide a package enabling people in crisis to be better prepared for self-supported/independent living.
Huge thanks to David Clayton, the MD of Bassets Property Sales & Lettings, for wanting to help two local charities and for driving the fundraising programme. Over £24,000 has been raised to date and is being shared equally between the two charities.
